James Kevin O'Connor's approach to his musical artistry is like a fine aged wine: Full-bodied and mindfulness in one comprehensive package called, Soul. He approaches life--his life as all true artists do: To create is their sustenance, their honey, their breath.

His sense of himself is harmoniously in sync with his world around him. He is as complex as his lyrics and as strong in his resolve to live out his dharmic, creative plan, to its very (sweet) end.

Singer, songwriter, podcaster/Radio & TV personality, Hi level elite strategic coach, and music producer James Kevin O’Connor is also the Founder/Chairman/CEO of the James O’Connor Agency based in Nashville TN, which has a specialty for writing and producing branded songs for authors, key note speakers, thought leaders, non profits, and corporations. 

He has written, produced, and performed on many of his own solo albums through the years, including, "175 Cherry Lane”, and his two latest, "Geography of the Soul" and “Gratitude", which were recorded on Music Row in Nashville, TN with "A list" musicians, and producer, Kim Copeland. 

James is currently working on his fourth full length album on music row in Nashville titled “God, Guns, and Freedom” slated for release in 2024.

James has hosted over 400 podcasts with authors, speakers thought leaders, artists, and singer/songwriters from around the world, through his podcast “podcastingyourglobalcareer.com” 

Currently in 71 countries and still growing, the show now also a Radio/TV program that is distributed through his Youtube tv channel, "The James O'Connor Agency" channel. The entire world is able to access these phenomenal shows, (available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Pandora, Facebook, Twitter, and 23 other platforms) which have launched promising new talent as well as enhancing the careers of rising musical artists in the industry. 

James is also the co-songwriter and lead vocalist of the unique Christian pop rock/gospel band, "MERCY" with Chaplain and Archbishop Dr. Christine Mercy Johnson, PhD. D.D. The album “I AM VICTORIOUS” a ten song full length album produced and Mastered in Nashville, TN, was released in early 2017 and is being transformed to be an interactive live theatre event (similar to West Side Story) to be performed live on stages all across the country, then the world.

In 2020 James became a Christian Chaplain with the International Federation of Christian Chaplains badge #4554 and also started a prison ministry to share his music, storytelling, and offer of hope to those who are incarcerated.

In 2021 he released his first book titled “7 Steps To Mental Freedom” that was inspired by those suffering from depression and anxiety to offer an alternative path to a healthy mind for those without traditional resources. 7stepstomentalfreedom.com

In 2022 he started his coaching practice with a resume of studying for years under great coaches like Tony Robbins, Brendan Burchard, Dave Conway, Bob Proctor, and so many other coaches. James has been the recipient of many coaching programs and seminars over the past two decades and brings a wealth of past coaching experience, combined with his real life business experience and has a deep well of knowledge that he is always excited to share with his clients. In 2023 James specialized his coaching business in the following two areas,

1) Helping single executive professional women who want to advance their career, and also want a special healthy relationship with the Lord, and a man.

2) Helping retirees connect to their passion and purpose, and finding a new joy in life, as this should be the best chapter of their life. As a chaplain who was married a long time, single for a long time, and now happily engaged, he is the perfect mentor for this application!

2023 Also had James committed to the Pantheon.FM ecosystem. It’s where you will find the 1% of legitimate podcasters that put out valuable content on a regular basis, and are changing the world one interview at a time. His Podcast now has authors, speakers, thought leaders, and business leaders, as well as talented musical artists that showcase talent and heartfelt stories from around the globe.

2024 James is working on his second book, “Thankfulness” and will also be out performing his newest music live this year, along with working on his 4th full length Music Row Album, “God, Guns, and Freedom”, he is also committed to helping people with his Elite coaching business to accomplish their dreams and desires, and to have fun while doing it!

1985-2014 In 1985 James started an electrical contracting business. He started with a pail of tools, an old station wagon and an idea. 4 Years later he had developed a multi million dollar business with12 Employees and had also started a telecommunication division that specialized in advanced copper and fiber optic cabling infrastructure.

Through strategic partnership the company expanded rapidly. Some of his career highlights were building out data centers for major financial and health care institutions like Morgan Stanley, Novartis, BASF, Bayer Health Care systems and Cardinal Health. He was also was a major contributor to building out the NJ Devils Arena, NY Jets training camp, NY Giants training camp, Red Bulls Soccer stadium, Met Life Stadium, and countless other major projects in the NJ area. At his peak he had 102 field technicians working under his employment and supervision.
